Pfleiderer at BAU 2017 trade fair: Internationally integrated with an unparalleled range of products

With customized solutions Pfleiderer is hoping to enthuse its international audience at the upcoming BAU 2017 (hall B5, stand 320). The leading international trade fair for architecture, materials and systems is to take place in Munich from 16 to 21 January 2017. Under the theme “Inspirations close to you”, the wood-based panel manufacturer will be presenting for the first time its new product range that is unparalleled in breadth and depth. Core element is the "Design Collection 2017-2020": A selection of decors designed for global use and based on forward-looking interior design trends and up-to-date colour worlds and environments.

Given the wide choice, it may be difficult for customers to maintain an overview. Therefore the wood-based panel experts have put together programmes for different uses and groups of customers across the segments raw particle-/fibreboard, melamine faced board and HPL/elements: The offering ranges from classic boards for furniture construction and interior fitting, as well as for ships, to light-weight construction and fire prevention, through to ecological products and products for structural applications. In addition, Pfleiderer also offers electrostatically dissipative wood-based panels, genuine metal finishes and customized digital prints.

Outstanding expertise in decorative surfaces

"With our integrated collection, we have created a range of decors, surface textures and formats that is unparalleled in breadth and depth," says Michael Wolff, CEO of Pfleiderer Group S.A.: "More than ever we thus live up to our claim of being the leading supplier for high-quality and unique wood-based materials in Europe: with an outstanding expertise in decorative surfaces, customer-oriented services and - last but not least - with sustainable principles."

Having harmonised its subsidiaries' structures in recent months, the company then integrated them into the Pfleiderer Group S.A. Thereby Pfleiderer not only created a new uniform group-wide product collection but also strengthened its position as one of the leading European wood-based panel producers.

"One Pfleiderer opens up new opportunities for growth", says Wolff: "Thanks to uniform structures in Germany and Poland we have shortened our internal decision-making processes." In addition to a number of synergies, this provides the advantage that we can now respond faster to market trends and press ahead with forward-looking innovations."

Globally "One Face to the Customer"

Against this background, the internationally integrated Pfleiderer Group is increasingly gearing its offerings to high-end products with innovative decors and surface textures. "In 2017, we will again invest around 50-60 million euros in increasing the productivity of our plants,'" announced Wolff: “Thanks to new technologies we can also better respond to our customers' needs - no matter where in Europe they live."
